(Highland Hills, Ohio) Marly Koleno, Sarah Lucas and Molly Bissell had career-high performances Tuesday night as the fourth-ranked ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ volleyball team moved to 19-0 with a 3-1 victory against Cuyahoga Community College.

The Pioneers’ 25-21, (25-12), 15-10 and 25-20 win was the 497th for Rob Snyder as ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s coach.

Koleno had 14 blocked shots. Lucas had 29 and Bissell 18 of the Pioneers’ season-high 96 digs. Anora Robare, who Oct. 11 recorded her 1,000th career assist at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´, led the Pioneers with 30.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ earlier Tuesday advanced to a No. 4 ranking among 86 National Junior College Athletic Association Division III programs. ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ has been in the Top 15 in Division III in 34 of 38 polls dating to Oct. 4, 2021. The program was last ranked as high as No. 4 in mid-October 2024, when the Pioneers were en route to a 22-0 start.

All-American Josie Russo and Bissell led ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ with nine kills each against Cuyahoga, which dropped to 9-7 with the loss.

Koleno, a defensive specialist, is a graduate of Apollo-Ridge High School. Bissell, an outside hitter, and Robare, a setter, of Slippery Rock; Russo, a middle hitter, of Freeport; and Lucas, a defensive specialist, of Butler.

The Pioneers visit the Community College of Allegheny County at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the regular-season finale. The Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference and NJCAA Division III Region 20 playoffs will be held Oct. 25 in Johnstown.

Snyder’s teams are 497-172 through his 27½ seasons.
