(Butler, PA) The ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ men’s basketball team will battle for conference and regional titles this weekend during a dual-championship tournament in ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Field House in Butler Township.

The Pioneers will compete against the Community College of Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, at 5 p.m. Friday in the tournament’s single semifinal. The winner Friday will face Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Johnstown, at 1 p.m. Saturday for the dual Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference and National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Region 20 championship.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s Nick DelGratta, a 6-foot-7 forward from Struthers, Ohio, leads players on all 63 NJCAA Division III programs with a scoring average of 28.2 points per game. He is also eighth in steals with 69.

The Pioneers (11-12) are 0-2 against the Community College of Allegheny County (12-11) in the 2025-2026 season, including a two-point loss Feb. 4. Pennsylvania Highlands (14-12) is 1-1 this season against ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ and is 2-0 against the Community College of Allegheny County.

Pennsylvania Highlands won the WPCC title in 2025, the Community College of Allegheny County in 2024 and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ in 2023. Pennsylvania Highlands was the Region 20 champion in 2025, Prince George’s Community College, Largo, Md., in 2024 and ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ in 2023.

The Pioneers have captured seven WPCC titles since 1980 and two Region 20 championships since 2002.
